If you are already a member of this or another Guild you may already know much of the information given here.
The aim of the Devon Guild, as with all other Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, is to preserve and improve the crafts of hand weaving, spinning and dyeing.If you are not a member, but are interested in fibre-crafts and textiles, we hope that you will find the contents of our site interesting, and that you may be tempted to visit a Guild meeting soon!
You don't need to already be a weaver, spinner or dyer to attend our meetings as a visitor or to join the Guild. However, if you live in or near Devon and want to learn any of these crafts, we can direct you towards the right places to go and the people to see in your part of the county.
